DIRECTOR’S REPORT Impact Minerals Ltd Annual Report 2021 82 EVENTS SINCE THE END OF THE FINANCIAL YEAR There has not arisen in the interval between the end of the financial year and the date of this report any item, transaction or event of a material and unusual nature likely, in the opinion of the Directors, to affect significantly the operations, the results of those operations, or the state of affairs of the Group in future financial years. LIKELY DEVELOPMENTS AND EXPECTED RESULTS OF OPERATIONS The Directors are not aware of any developments that might have a significant effect on the operations of the Group in subsequent financial years not already disclosed in this report. ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATION The Group is subject to significant environmental regulation in respect of its exploration activities. Tenements in Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland are granted subject to adherence to environmental conditions with strict controls on clearing, including a prohibition on the use of mechanised equipment or development without the approval of the relevant government agencies, and with rehabilitation required on completion of exploration activities. These regulations are controlled by the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety ( Western Australia ), the Department of Industry ( New South Wales ) and the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy ( Queensland ). Impact Minerals Limited conducts its exploration activities in an environmentally sensitive manner and the Group is not aware of any breach of statutory conditions or obligations. Greenhouse gas and energy data reporting requirements The Directors have considered compliance with the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007 which requires entities to report annual greenhouse gas emissions and energy use. The Directors have assessed that there are no current reporting requirements for the year ended 30 June 2021, however reporting requirements may change in the future. INFORMATION ON DIRECTORS Peter Unsworth B.Com (Non-Executive Chairman), Director since 28 April 2006 Experience and expertise Mr Unsworth, formerly a chartered accountant, has more than 40 years’ experience in the corporate finance, investment, and securities industries and has a wealth of management experience with both public and private companies. A former Executive Director with a leading Western Australian stockbroking company, Mr Unsworth has been a Director of a number of public exploration and mining companies. He is a former Director and Chairman of the Western Australian Government owned Gold Corporation (operator of The Perth Mint).
